Reaktor plugin not making noise1/16/2024 I’ve tried to label them sensibly but bare in mind they are no more than a demo research patches not finished commercial products. The front panel looks a bit analogue and will have some familiar controls and some new ones. It includes, and is therefore 'powered by', Reaktor Player, which functions as a VST Plugin, an Audio Units Plugin and an AAX Plugin. The main downside is there wasn’t a ready- made “Reaktor” delay module similar to my analogue modelling one so I had to create it as a Macro. Razor by Native Instruments is a Virtual Instrument and a Virtual Effect Audio Plugin and Soundware (samples or presets that load into other products) for macOS and Windows. You can also play in polyphony which is a revelation! This is a another great time saver. Reaktor has a huge range of ready- made modules that equate fairly closely to standard analogue synthesiser modules, which is a great time saver. This is again different to simple analogue control voltages. In Reaktor you also have a main system of pitch which is strongly related to midi data using the keyboard key numbers. In digital you have separate “audio” and “event” processing of the numbers which are sampled at different rates to save CPU time. On Mac, the folder is usually located at /Library/Application Support/Reaktor 6/Plug-Ins. On Windows, this folder is usually located at C:Program FilesNative InstrumentsReaktor 6Plug-Ins. Unzip the file and copy it to your Reaktor Plug-Ins folder. In analogue you have control voltages and signal paths and the divide between the two is often quite blurred. Download the Piky plugin file from the link below. I n Reaktor, because you are merely processing numbers, there are naturally some significant differences to working with an old style modular analogue synthesiser.
